Audrey Flack 1931-2024

Born in 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, Audrey Flack attended Cooper Union before receiving a BFA from Yale University in 1952. She completed numerous public commissions, and her work can be found in the collections of most major American museums: the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo; the Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin College; the Dallas Museum of Art; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the National Museum of American Art, Washington, D.C.; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; among many others.
